L♥VED IT!

And Brett did too! After having some free Carino's dinner here at home (they didn't have our To Go order ready when I picked it up so they gave it to me for free), Brett and I went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic for Valentines Day. I've seen the book at bookstores and I've been tempted to buy and read it but never did.

Anway, I loved the movie! Isla Fisher was so funny! And, the shoes and clothes were just too cute. It made me wanna go shopping after the movie! Who wouldn't want that red Ferragamo bag?

One thing I don't like about Oklahoma... (besides the ice storms)

It was a nice Tuesday morning so I decided to let Duke play in his kennel in our backyard. Then around 2:00 one of the clients at work said that there's going to be a tornado warning here in Edmond starting at 3:00. I rushed home to take Duke inside our house. On my way back to work, the sirens went off and the radio deejays told us to take cover and go to our shelters. I was freaking out because I was still a mile away from work! Anyway, I got to work safely and took cover.

CLICK HERE to see pictures of the damage. I have to take an alternate route to work because of the power lines that have fallen on the roads are not fixed yet. The usual 8 minute drive to work has turned into a 20 minute drive. One of the tornados got too close. It was honestly about a mile from our neighborhood. I guess I could say, I don't mind having to wake up 10 minutes earlier than usual. I just feel so grateful that all of us are safe and that we didn't suffer any damage to our home.

My fave teacher - Merrilee Webb

Women's Choir was a class at BYU-Hawaii. It is an elective and a no auditioned choir class, so everyone can register and join it. Merrilee Webb taught the class for years and basically had the same girls and boys (for the men's choir) every semester. What I mean is that, us, her students, loved her so much that we registered for that class every semester. Usually they only allow 60-70 students in a class, but in her last year at BYUH, 140 girls wanted to join the women's choir.

Sis. Webb is such a loving and inspiring teacher. She was someone that I looked forward to see each day. She's definitely one of those people that helped me become a better person.

A friend just posted this video on Facebook. This was from our concert on her last semester at BYUH. This song is so perfect that we dedicated it to Sis. Webb. It's called "FOR GOOD" from the broadway musical Wicked.

For Good

Here are some more of the songs that we performed...

Jack Johnson Concert

We drove 5 1/2 hours to see Jack Johnson. That's how much we love him!

Mexico!

Brett took me to Mexico for my birthday! It was both our first time there and we had so much fun!
